Hi, I am Rong Yuan. I also like people to call me Missy.​ I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Shanghai. I enjoy creating a meaningful experience to connect with people. I am passionate about the design that prompts the public to raise awareness of social issues.

I grew up in Shenzhen, China. And my interest in human-centred design made me went overseas to study the Product Design course in London, at Central Saint Martins college. I had the great chance to work on various projects to design products and develop new experiences for international brands. It's also a great city to embrace diversity, to learn about different people and cultures. 

 

Currently, I am working full-time as a designer in Dunnhumby, creating visuals for a designer jewellery brand -- Neu Studio and freelancing occasionally. I am also recently working on interactive projects to address my concerns about social problems.
